Ranu James is an Instructional Designer, Resource Writer and cultural practitioner with over 30 years of experience in early childhood education, community engagement and resource development across the Northern Territory, Victoria and Queensland.

A proud Papuan Australian woman with a Master of Education in International Studies, she is known for a deep commitment to sharing cultural knowledge and fostering cultural awareness through education, music, storytelling and the arts.

Her career spans music and preschool teaching, service management, regulation, TAFE teaching, inclusion support, early childhood consultancy and resource development — always working directly with educators, children and families, including in remote Aboriginal communities of the Northern Territory.
