The materials are indexed against the Standards rather than grouped by document type, because that is how the question arrives. Nobody asks to see your policy folder. They ask how you meet a specific requirement, and expect to be shown the practice and the evidence that demonstrates it.

Each item therefore carries the clause or clauses it engages, and each clause lists what would ordinarily be needed to demonstrate it.

A policy is a description of what an organisation actually does. A policy downloaded from another provider is a description of what they do, and the gap between the document and your practice is precisely what an audit surfaces.

That gap is also invisible to the person who downloaded it, because the document reads well. It becomes visible the moment somebody compares the policy to a student file.

So the templates here are written to be completed rather than adopted. Where a decision has to be made, the template asks for it rather than making it for you, which is slower and produces a document that survives contact with your own operation.
